Usually, when images of an H&M or Target campaign leak early, it’s a grainy cell phone photo or an illegally scanned lookbook, but Alber Elbaz is just so damn determined to elevate the H&M brand that the first leak of his Lanvin collection for the Swedish store has dropped in the form of a glossy, perfectly Photoshopped ad. The above still features (from left to right) Hannelore Knuts, Jane Schmitt, Tati Cotliar, and Natasha Poly in signature Lanvin frocks with expected ladylike touches like chunky jewels, big glasses and well coiffed hair. In fact, if someone told us this was an actual Lanvin ad circa-2009, we’d probably believe them.
